Windows of Our Souls

The moment I gazed, you followed my direction

Hoping you'd notice, meet me in confrontation

Windows of our souls, our eyes lost in thought

Falling for you, emotions tied in a knot

Thoughtful reflections of what my heart holds ajar

Shining light from my soul, like the moon from afar

Windows of our souls, our eyes awaits hope

Waiting for the day, should we decide to elope

Scared of the thought of what could have been

Trauma of the past, of what we have seen

Windows of our souls, our eyes fear the unknown

Anticipation of our path, what fate will condone

Shocked at the revelation of where I put myself in

Nowhere to hide nor run, just look from within

Windows of our souls, our eyes says it all

Passions gone wild, unleashing befall
