It’s disheartening to see how people, during this global chaos, get in a panic mode and survival of the fittest mindset. Never mind about the doctors, nurses, medical technicians, and first responders that are in the front line of this global pandemic, people still hoard what they believe they need, leaving very little, if nothing, for those who needed it the most. It's sad to see how some people can be so selfish and can be lured to utmost fear and panic that they forget about compassion and consideration for those who are at higher risks.
Truly, it's all in one's perspective. Maybe it’s best or even wise to be aware of our thoughts, of where we focus our energies. There's no point in adding gasoline to a burning flame, when all we really wanted is to tame it down so we could go back to our normal lives. I encourage you all to not focus on the negative and the inconvenience this plague has brought us all. Let's remind ourselves of the many blessings we have… I know it is easier said than done, especially when you feel the effects of this global change, where everything seems so uncertain, when our own basic needs and very health are at risk, but what better options do we have? It's either we practice the negative mindset and live in fear, or we consciously focus on the light at the end of the tunnel and find beauty and appreciate what blessings we have, no matter how big or little it is.
We must make a choice on how to handle this crisis. We must believe that we are all resilient, we're all in this together. We all want the same thing and we will come back stronger and wiser after all of this. Let's stay sensible, safe, and keep faith. Let us be the light during these dark times for this too shall pass. Blessings to all!
